Thekkady

Thekkady an enthralling plantation town, hill station and wildlife centre is situated in central Kerala.

The country's exclusive Tiger reserve, Thekkady, with its copious riches of tropical flora and fauna is the vital reservoir of many a rare variety species and of prosperous tribal ethnicity. Thekkady is an amusing paradise on ground for those who adore nature in its feral expressions. The best time to visit is during the months of March, April and May. Thekkady offers services for Trekking, elephant riding and boating. Boating through the serene Lake provides an extraordinary occasion to watch untamed animals at close quarters.
